Operation BEANTOWN 2026!
We’re thrilled to launch Year 2 of Operation Beantown — our elite development program for top-tier 2011–2008 female hockey players. In 2026, Ayrborne Elite will compete against the best teams and talent from across North America at the Rush Beantown Classic Weekend One &/OR two in Boston. with plans to add another major event leading up to Beantown — the Rush High Performance Tournament in Toronto (June 5–7, 2026).

Operation Beantown is Ayrborne Hockey’s elite program built for female athletes with NCAA aspirations. The Rush Beantown Classic in Boston draws hundreds of college coaches, scouts, and recruiters each year, making it one of the most heavily scouted events in North America. Our goal is clear: develop top-tier players, elevate their game, and showcase them on one of the biggest stages in girls’ hockey.

Program Overview
The 2026 OP Beantown roster will be selected November 2025.

Applications for vacant roster positions will open November 7th.

Returning Ayrborne Elite players receive first right of return before new applicants are reviewed.
​
This season’s roster will feature a U18 team with players born 2010–2008 (exceptional 2011s may be considered).
​
Players selected must be committed to training beyond their regular season schedule, pushing for excellence through on-ice development. Last season the team completed 32 practices and skill sessions in partnership with TWIST Hockey leading up to the Beantown Classic, setting the bar for elite-level compete.

Schedule & Commitment
Training will run December through July, featuring 2+ additional ice times per month during the winter, increasing the frequency of sessions through the spring and summer leading up to tournament play.
​
Sessions will be held in Ayr, ON or nearby rinks in Waterloo Region. During the Winter season Ayrborne Hockey can have ice times Fridays as early as 3:30pm. During the off-season for the Spring & Summer Ayrborne Hockey utilizes weekday evening ice times.

Ayrborne Hockey continues to partner with top development professionals across Waterloo Region.
