AYRBORNE ELITE
Operation BEANTOWN 2024/25

We are excited to announce "Operation Beantown" - A season long program geared to develop a 2010(09) ELITE Female Hockey Team to compete versus TOP TIER teams and players from all over North America in the RUSH Beantown Classic Tournament hosted in Boston July 2025.

OP Beantown is an operational plan to train and develop top female athletes who have aspirations of going further in their hockey journey, such as College Hockey and beyond.  RUSH Beantown Classic Tournaments brings with it, coaches, scouts, recruiters & agents from Colleges and Prep Schools from around North America, attending to look for the best female athletes in hockey. 

Ayrborne Hockey will strive to develop those athletes into a Top Tier Hockey Team ready to be showcased at the highest levels.

What is involved?

The team will be selected in October and will consist of monthly training sessions and practices from November to July.  Athletes who are successful in joining OP Beantown must be willing to commit and train above and beyond their normal regular season team commitments, with potentially 2 to 4 extra ice times per month during the winter regular season and ice times increasing during the summer leading up to the Beantown Classic Tournament.

These practices and development sessions will take place in Ayr Ontario.  During the regular winter season Ayrborne Hockey is looking to secure ice times on Friday afternoons with a potential start time of 3:30pm.​

During the off-season leading up to the Beantown Classic Tournament, ice-times will likely be scheduled for weekday evenings.

Ayrborne Hockey will be working with some of the Top Tier development partners from around Waterloo Region, to give female athletes all the tools required to elevate their individual skills and their team play.

Who is Eligible?

OP Beantown team will be comprised of athletes born in 2010 & 2009.  Twenty players will be selected consisting of 18 skaters and 2 goaltenders.  Those who wish to apply for OP Beantown can fill out the "OP Beantown Application" form below.

What is the Cost?

The cost per athlete will be $1450.00 which includes all practices, training sessions, cost of the Beantown Classic Tournament, Jersey and Apparel.
